What Comforting Embrace does

Gives back Governor Stamina once per day.

Level it. Stamina is the one resource you cannot buy your way around early, and the Lynx is the only pet that prints it.

The Lynx is a stamina pet, so it belongs with the march that hunts beasts and terrors. Fire the skill before a beast-scoring phase and the refunded Governor Stamina turns into extra attacks; in a player fight it adds only its passive bonus.

Trigger it here:

• When your Stamina bar is nearly empty and intel missions are still stacked up.
• Before an event that scores intel or beast kills, so the refill lands inside the scoring window.

What it costs to level

Every figure here is counted out of the full level table, so it is the cumulative Pet Food you spend to reach that level, rather than the cost of the single step.

At level 60 the Lynx carries a 10.06% troop attack and defense bonus and 724,320 power. That bonus applies whether the skill is on cooldown or not, which is why a pet you never trigger is still worth levelling.

Pet Food cost and the troop bonus are set by the generation, so two pets of the same generation cost exactly the same to raise. Their power and their skill are what differ.

Where it sits in the chain

The Beast Cage unlocks in waves by server day, and most pets also need the previous one at a set level.

• Becomes available on server day 54, once you have Town Center level 18.

Tips worth knowing

• Use the Stamina before it caps. A full bar wastes whatever the Lynx gives you.
• It has 60 levels while the Gray Wolf stops at 50, so the same Pet Food buys you a longer runway here.

Mistakes people make

• Triggering it on a full bar.
• Treating it as a combat pet. The 10.06% attack and defense at max is the same passive every pet gives; the skill itself does nothing in a fight.
