What this almanac is

Kingshot asks the same questions every week. Which lineup for this generation, what to hoard before Kingdom of Power, which pet to level, whether the code in alliance chat still works. This site is one player's answers, written down once they have been checked against the game and dated so you can see how fresh they are.

The guides are opinionated and say why. The item, pet and hero pages are databases built from one source file each, so a number changes in one place and every page that quotes it follows. Nothing is published before the publisher has announced it. Who writes it and how facts get in is on the about page; mistakes go to the contact page.
