What Grip of the Titan does

Finishes your next resource gather instantly.

Level it to 15 and move on until Cheetah needs it. Cheetah unlocks behind Bison level 15, so this one is a gate as much as a pet.

The Bison is for the gathering marches. Trigger Grip of the Titan on the fullest load in the field and the resources arrive at once. Keep it off the combat march, where the skill does nothing and the level is better spent elsewhere.

Trigger it here:

• On the longest gather you have running, usually a full load on a high level tile.
• Right before a resource event window closes, to bank one more delivery.

What it costs to level

Every figure here is counted out of the full level table, so it is the cumulative Pet Food you spend to reach that level, rather than the cost of the single step.

At level 60 the Bison carries a 10.06% troop attack and defense bonus and 724,320 power. That bonus applies whether the skill is on cooldown or not, which is why a pet you never trigger is still worth levelling.

Pet Food cost and the troop bonus are set by the generation, so two pets of the same generation cost exactly the same to raise. Their power and their skill are what differ.

Where it sits in the chain

The Beast Cage unlocks in waves by server day, and most pets also need the previous one at a set level.

• Becomes available on server day 54, once you have Available in the first Beast Cage wave with Gray Wolf and Lynx.
• Levelling it opens Cheetah on day 90.

Tips worth knowing

• Send the march to the richest tile you can reach, then trigger the skill. The pet does not care how far the march still had to go.
• Cheetah is locked behind Bison level 15, so those first fifteen levels have a second job.

Mistakes people make

• Using it on a short gather that would have finished anyway.
• Skipping Bison entirely and then wondering why Cheetah stays locked on day 90.
