Full background story
Fahd's armor threw back a cold gleam in the wind, and above him his eagle wheeled in slow circles, the first sign that a fight was coming. The weather turned uglier by the minute until a man could barely see twenty paces ahead of him, and every time the eagle screamed, it set nerves on edge along the whole line. "Good thing Fahd warned us," one of the frontline soldiers muttered to no one in particular. "Otherwise that sneak attack might have actually worked." Fahd himself never looked away from the storm ahead, riding low against his horse's neck, untroubled by the wind or the sand scouring his face, and the black-clad riders around him settled into the same low crouch without needing to be told. Then the line went quiet, all of it, waiting for the order to turn the ambush back on the ambushers.
By the time the fighting had burned itself out and the sandstorm finally let go of the sky, the sun came back like something long overdue. In the city, the bells rang out over the same air as the eagle's cry, both of them drowned out soon enough by the cheering. The mayor tried to press a fortune on Fahd for what he'd done, but Fahd closed a hand around the man's wrist before he could finish the offer and shook his head. "This is what I was made for, my friend. We didn't ride out for gold or for anyone's memory of us." Standing in the morning light with the crowd pressing in around him, wiping the grime from his face, Fahd became, in that single moment, the kind of stranger a city does not forget.
On the battlefield there is little mercy in him. Off it, the children of the city adore him without reservation, and among his most devoted admirers is Forrest the lumberjack, won over entirely by Fahd's gift for a story. Some of the children swear he keeps a magic box somewhere that lets him spin tales for a thousand nights running without ever emptying it. Fahd only laughs and tells them the truth is far less exciting: they are simply the stories his own mother told him at his bedside, years ago. Told often enough, a story stops belonging to the person who first spoke it. His have already started making their way from one campfire to the next, ear to ear, and they will keep traveling long after the children who first heard them have grown up and forgotten where they picked them up.
His eagle is no mere companion, either. Once a battle turns serious, it cuts across the sky like a bolt loosed from a bow, and more than once that timing has saved him. The two of them read each other the way old partners do. Three slow circles overhead mean the bird has found supplies. A short, sharp whistle sends it out to scout the nearby ground. A steep dive marks exactly where the enemy is waiting. And the signal for attack, the one that matters most of all, is something Fahd has never told a living soul.
Skills

- The blinding sandstorm reduces all Enemy Squads' Attack by 5% for 2s.
- Eagle Wings
- After Sandstorm, his eagle directs allies' attacks, increasing his and nearby friendly Squads' Attack by 35% for 2s.
- Dune General
- Increases his Attack Speed by 30%.
Expedition
- Desert Eclipse
- Reduces all Enemy Squads' Damage Dealt by 20%.
- Pathfinder
- Increases Solo Hunting March Speed by 100%.
Best pairings
- Lore-confirmed friendship with Forrest the lumberjack, though no gameplay synergy is sourced for the pairing.
- Eagle Wings buffs nearby friendly squads' Attack after Sandstorm, so he benefits from fighting near other front-line squads.

Frequently asked questions
Does Fahd's eagle show up in his actual skills, or is it lore-only?
Both, Eagle Wings is a real Conquest skill (post-Sandstorm ally Attack buff), and the eagle's scouting signals described in his backstory are narrative flavor, not a coded effect.
What troop type is Fahd?
Cavalry, confirmed on kingshotdata.com and kingshotguide.org.
