What Territorial Power does

Raises squad defense for two hours.

A holding pet. It keeps your troops alive while somebody else's buff does the killing.

Territorial Power raises squad defense for two hours, so the Regal White Lion sits with the main march when you are the one being hit, in a garrison or when holding a building in Swordland Showdown.

At level 100 the Regal White Lion carries a 33.52% troop attack and defense bonus and 2,413,440 power. That bonus applies whether the skill is on cooldown or not, which is why a pet you never trigger is still worth levelling.

Pet Food cost and the troop bonus are set by the generation, so two pets of the same generation cost exactly the same to raise. Their power and their skill are what differ.

The Beast Cage unlocks in waves by server day, and most pets also need the previous one at a set level.

Tips worth knowing

Defense buffs pay off over a long exchange, so trigger it at the start of the pressure rather than at the peak.
Ironclad War Elephant needs Regal White Lion at level 30.
