What Deadly Bite does

Raises troop lethality for two hours.

The best two hour buff for anyone who joins fights rather than leads them.

Deadly Bite raises troop lethality, the stat that decides how many enemy troops die per round. The Panther is a pure main-march pet for the fighting phases of Kingdom of Power and Swordland Showdown.

Trigger it here:

During any fighting phase where you send troops repeatedly.
Together with the Grizzly Bear buff, since lower enemy lethality and higher own lethality compound.

What it costs to level

At level 100 the Alpha Black Panther carries a 33.52% troop attack and defense bonus and 2,413,440 power. That bonus applies whether the skill is on cooldown or not, which is why a pet you never trigger is still worth levelling.

Pet Food cost and the troop bonus are set by the generation, so two pets of the same generation cost exactly the same to raise. Their power and their skill are what differ.

The Beast Cage unlocks in waves by server day, and most pets also need the previous one at a set level.

Tips worth knowing

Lethality is what makes enemy losses permanent, so this buff is worth more in a long fight than in a single hit.
It needs Great Moose level 30 first, so budget 42,275 Pet Food for the gate before you even start.

Mistakes people make

Saving it for a perfect moment that never comes. Two hours per cooldown is a lot of unused uptime.
Levelling it before the Lion is deep, which starves your own Forgehammer supply.
