Kingshot Charm Guide
Charm Guides are the second material for Governor Gear Charm upgrades, spent alongside Charm Designs.
Hoard it
Charm Guides pair with Charm Designs. Every charm upgrade step on Governor Gear consumes both, and the step only completes when both are covered. Guides are the material more players run short of, so the Guides pile usually sets the pace.
The order of operations matters more than speed here: gear piece first, then its charms, one piece at a time. Splitting Guides across charms on several pieces leaves every charm a step short and none of the bonuses unlocked.
Sources are event shops, Hall of Governors rewards and charm packs, the same as for Designs.

When to spend it, by server age
Early game
Charms are not open yet. Guides from early rewards keep.
Mid game
Once a Governor Gear piece is finished, Guides and Designs go into that piece's charms during a Hall of Governors charm phase. Budget the upgrade off the smaller of the two piles.
Late game
Charm phases repeat, and the plan stays the same, one piece per window. When a shop offers both charm materials, buy Guides first if they are the smaller pile.
