Kingshot True Gold

True Gold is the gate material for pushing buildings past level 30, which is where mid-game progression either accelerates or stalls.

Hoard it

Buildings in Kingshot upgrade on Basic Resources until level 30. Past that point every Town Center step and the buildings gated behind it also want True Gold, and the supply of True Gold is far smaller than the supply of Wood or Iron. This is the mid-game wall, and every player hits it around the same time.

There is no gathering node for True Gold and no daily source that adds up quickly. It comes from event milestone rewards, KvK reward tiers, event shops and the Truegold research chains, in amounts that are always a bit less than the next upgrade wants.

That makes True Gold a pure planning item. Decide which Town Center level you are pushing to, count the True Gold each step needs, and spend nothing on side buildings until the Town Center step is funded.

Save it or spend it?

Hoard it. True Gold is the hardest wall in the mid game and there is no fast way around it.

When to spend it, by server age

Early game

Nothing to do. True Gold is irrelevant until your buildings approach level 30, and any you pick up from early events just waits.

Mid game

The wall arrives. Line up the Town Center upgrade with a Hall of Governors construction phase so the True Gold spend also scores, and treat every event that pays True Gold in its milestones as a priority.

Late game

Past the initial wall, True Gold keeps gating each new Town Center tier, and KvK reward tiers become the biggest single source. Keep counting backwards from the next Town Center level; side buildings still wait.

Tips worth knowing

Plan the Town Center upgrade you are aiming at and count backwards. Partial progress buys nothing.
True Gold and Truegold Dust are different materials with different uses. Do not plan around one and spend the other.
